TLC Promise Me is The Truly Loving Company’s (TLC) vision of social engagement for charitable causes. It is about channelling the collective energy of the community in helping the less fortunate, disabled and underprivileged in our society.
It gives everyone an opportunity to fulfil the wishes of the less fortunate i.e. an orphan wishing to learn to ride a bicycle or a mentally challenged girl wishing to learn to dance. These wishes become Promise Me pledges which a caring participant takes up and promises to fulfil within a set period of time.
We believe that every little effort counts and taking on charitable causes can be fun, engaging and ultimately rewarding. Promise Me is a TLC story which is about Stars that shine the brightest when everywhere else is dark. It is about touching the lives of others with kindness in our hearts and pledges in our hands.
Through Promise Me, we can have the opportunity to touch someone’s life and experience their less privileged situation. It will allow us to appreciate how fortunate we are and grow within ourselves. We can be the change that we want the world to be.
